What if you could give in a meaningful way, and truly make a difference, without additional cost? Corporations in the State of Arizona can do just that. You can redirect what you would otherwise pay the State of Arizona in taxes. Tuition scholarships generated from your donation will benefit students from low-income families, students with disabilities or students who have been or are currently in the Arizona foster care system.

How This Works:

  • Complete the Corporate Tax Credit Pledge Form and return it to APSTO no later than July 1, 2020. You may choose to redirect/donate up to your entire state income tax liability for the given tax year or a portion of it, as long as it does not exceed the entire statewide cap for the year. *If a corporation donates more than their tax liability it can be carried forward for up to 5 years (A.R.S. 43-1183) Time is of the essence, corporate tax credits are allowed on a first come, first served basis until the cap is reached.

  • APSTO will then submit your donation request for approval to the Arizona State Department of Revenue (ADOR)

  • Following ADOR’s approval, APSTO will notify you. Your company has 20 calendar days to make the requested credit donation or that amount will open back up to other donors and you will have to start the process over.

  • Once APSTO receives your company’s donation, a receipt will be issued to your company so you can claim the tax credit.

  • APSTO will then issue tuition awards to qualifying Arizona students.
